Wildwood Park by Doug Wright
Wildwood Park in the Brighton Fringe Festival
Wildwood Park is a taut psychological thriller, exploring the seductive draw of the macabre.
If God gave me the chance to see evil, then I would look at it. And that is a terrible thing to know about oneself.
Unspeakable secrets are exposed in a house with a notorious and terrifying past. In this provocative production of Doug Wright’s gripping play your imagination is as active a player as the actors themselves.
No Agenda Theatre performed the UK professional premier of Wildwood Park at the Bridewell Theatre London in 2006. Following this successful run, Wildwood Park will be performed at the Brighton Festival Fringe, in a new production specially directed by Sian Webber.
Doug Wright won the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for I Am My Own Wife. He made his motion picture debut with an adaption of his award winning play Quills, his screenplay was nominated for a Golden Globe and received the Paul Selvin Award from the Writers Guild of America. The film was named Best Picture by the National Board of Review and nominated for three Academy Awards.
